The Public Bid Search Tool
The Government e-Marketplace hosts all active tenders on the public BidPlus sub-portal. You do not need to log in to search:
- Open the portal at https://bidplus.gem.gov.in.
- Select Bids -> Active Bids from the top menu.
- Use the main search bar to input your search term.
Searching by Bid Number
If you know the exact bid number (e.g. `GEM/2026/B/1234567`):
- Input the full string into the search box.
- Avoid leaving spaces around slashes.
- Click search to load the matching bid detail block.
Downloading Bid Documents
To review the tender specifications:
- Click on the Bid Document link inside the search result block.
- This downloads a PDF containing technical specifications, financial terms, and EMD criteria.
